Confession time: I never was a fan of vests before. I know, I know. Blasphemous. Maybe it was because my only memory of them were the ones with scraggly, fake fur around the edges of the hood from Abercrombie (remember this? yeah, I don’t want to either,) but mainly it was because I never found ones that were versatile and still cute for everyday wear. Last year that changed with the arrival of the “famous” herringbone vest. I wore that baby with everything last year, and now this year the camo version quickly took its place.
So when I saw this (faux) shearling piece on Groopdealz a few weeks ago, I knew it needed to have a happy home in my closet. The olive color is seriously chameleon-like, and I’ve yet to find an outfit it doesn’t completely complement. I paired it with some distressed denim, an easy white top and my favorite pair of Fryes (aka the best boot investment you’ll make – these are over 5 years old!)
If you follow me on IG, you might have seen one of my recent pictures mention these apple cider Moscow mules. You.must.make.these. Please, if you’re a fan of anything fall related, make this drink this season. It’s tastes like your happiest fall in one copper cup. Besides being just visually appealing and photogenic, your drink will stay icy cold in these cooper beauties for about a 4+ episode Netflix binge watch of Scandal (hooked.)
What are you ladies sipping on this fall? Any fabulous fall drink recipes I need to know about?
