Winter Dates

Top: Hale Bob c/o (similar here) / Jacket: ASOS (sells out quickly! similar, under $70 here) / Denim: Nordstrom (similar distressed pair here – under $90!) / Clutch: Clare V / Heels: Zara (identical here)

I’ve never been a cold weather sort of girl. Give me humidity, give me high heat indexes, I’ll take it over a wintry mix any.day. When it’s 15 degrees outside with wind chill, the last thing I want to do is a.) move from my hibernating state or b.) be cold. Since I can’t hibernate and watch Downton Abbey all winter long, I’m working to combat option b.

This Hale Bob shirt is just the solution to that. Flirty and long-sleeved, it’s dressy enough for a date night, but won’t leave you feeling overdressed. Bonus: it’s double layered so you don’t have to worry about throwing something underneath, which shaves about 10 minutes off the getting-ready process and is one less step to worry about!

Winter white and some print mixing jazz up this look just enough to highlight the adorable details on the top. And since I’m always 3 steps behind, I am now a wrap coat convert. This tan number has been glued to me during this frigid cold spell, and is universally flattering. I’ve thrown it over a casual sweater and boots type of look, but it also works perfectly for dressing up!

Thanks for stopping by & Happy Christmas week!
