Happy Monday pretties!
Valentine’s Day has passed but I am in no way, shape or form ready to give up all things pink and sassy yet [or the chocolate, or the wine, or the heart shaped pastries to name a few..]. But since most of the holidays to get super “festive” for have passed, I’m struggling a bit with what clothes and color palettes to choose. I consider the time between February to April to be “fashion limbo.“
It’s cold. It’s snows, occasionally (or a lot.) Or then it’s 65 degrees one day of the week. Then it goes back to -3 with a 40% chance of snow showers and a 100% chance of a glass of Malbec after 5.
Mother Nature’s mood swings are going strong in these months, and it’s hard not to want to fast forward to spring. But it’s even harder to imagine getting dressed. It’s still too early for florals, but too late for plaid blanket scarves.
During these months, I tend to stick to darker, neutral colors and slowly start transitioning to spring brights in the form of my jewels, heels or bags! Basically my accessories are already in spring, while my clothes are stuck heeding whatever prophecy that poor groundhog’s shadow predicted on Groundhog Day. When I was in Florida they were experiencing a bit of a “cold spell” (60 degrees) so I was able to get away sans jacket and able to bare my toes! I brightened up my look with some leopard and a bit of pink to make the neutrals look a bit more lively.
P.S.: If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I’m currently in India! I’ll be updating y’all in a post later this week recapping my Valentines Day weekend and giving you the low-down on what I’m doing halfway across the world!
I hope you're having the best time gorgeous girl! You look incredible as always.

Ahh thank you Sophie! XOXO!
Gorgeous look and I couldn't agree more…such a transition period and as much as the "fashion world" is already pushing Spring right now, it is hard to make that jump when it is still freezing out! Come April 1st, I think we easily transition right into Spring. 😉 Hope you are having a blast in India!
I KNOW! It's hard to think of shorts and tanks when snow storms are still be predicted! Thank you beautiful! XO
Loving all these neutrals with the pop of hot pink and leopard!

Hi:) I’m new to your blog and love your curls, do you have a post about your iron or how you do your hair? Thanks!
Hi Tori!
Thank you so much! Welcome to my site, so glad you’re here! I don’t right now, but a hair tutorial is on my calendar to do in the next month or so! 🙂 But, I use a 1 inch wand and curl all sections away from my face! Feel free to email me with any questions you might have, I can also send over the youtube video I learned to do it from! xx
