Happy Monday!I’m a sundress kind of girl. While I love a good romper, maxi and pair of distressed shorts for Spring and Summer, something is so effortlessly easy about a sundress. The past few years it’s become harder to find cute, flattering ones without being charged the price of a semi-truck. In high school, when watching True Blood was allllll the rage [think seasons 1-3, before things got really weird], I was always obsessing over Sookie Steakhouse’s collection of Southern sundresses [see what I mean, here]. I mean, girl was killing Vampires, causally serving burgers and still looking adorable at the same time #envy.
You might have seen this dress a few times this season and for good reason. Besides being adorable, it’s relatively affordable and is the epitome of a perfect sundress. The floral pattern isn’t overwhelming or obnoxious, and it’s the easiest thing to throw on for a hot day or evening [I threw a denim jacket over it for some errands last week]. Since I’m in Florida till the end of the month, and we’re already in full blown summer down here, this baby has been a life saver. I paired it this weekend with some bold sandals, a neutral cross body and my favorite stack of beads for a busy little Saturday. Do you feel the amp’d up 90’s vibes with all the beads lately? I love it. Stay tuned in the next few weeks, I’ll be giving away a stack of these pretties!
What are some of your favorite places to get sundress deals? I’ve been stalking the Forever21 site to try and find more affordable ones!
P.S.: Who else is watching The Bachelorette tonight? I hope Kaitlyn stays! She’s sassy and showers, so she already has the advantage if you ask me.
