Happy Monday!I’m not a big fan of crop tops. I  honestly used to think that it was about the name. The words ‘crop’ and ‘top’ made it sound like you’d be showing a part of your body that should have been cropped out in the first place. Weird, I know. Anyway, I have avoided them since a few years ago when they really had a moment. Not because I haven’t found cute ones, or ones that would have actually fit my ridiculously long torso [#lankygirlprobs], I just felt never right in one. Either they looked like a bikini top, or I one tried and looked like a Spice Girl gone wrong. It just didn’t work.

Then I found this little gem. Normally, I don’t frequent Forever 21 in store just because there is SO much going on [stressed the minute I walk in], I get a little intimated. I tend to stick to shopping that store/madhouse online. So when I found this top a few weeks ago, I fell in love and took a risk and ordered it without having any idea what it would look like on. And I am SO glad I did! It’s titled as a crop top, but I found that it’s the perfect length and can be slightly adjusted since it’s off the shoulder and can be tugged down depending on what you like! I paired mine with my favorite pair of denim shorts from DSTLD for the summer since they have a little bit of a higher waist and didn’t make the whole ‘crop’ thing happen!

Also, you might have seen from my Instagram, that I am currently in Napa! Armaan and I are taking a little vacation for my birthday (on the 18th!) and just spending the week drinking and eating our way through the different wine towns. I’ll be doing a full post on all our favorite wineries and places to eat in Napa once I’m back!
