I’ve been on a dress kick lately. With temps reaching the high 90’s most days and everyone posting photos of sweaters and PSLs, I’m just plain confused. Do I wear the sweater and suffocate? Or do I wear the shorts and look like I’m headed for a 4th of July BBQ? It’s a constant struggle between seasons, especially when winters on the East coast last for about 6 months and I kind of don’t mind the warmth. I’ve been picking up easy, draped dresses recently that I know will take me through the seasons and don’t leave me totally clueless when picking what to wear!

This dress is one of the best staples I’ve found for this season! A casual LBD is essential for every girls closet, and this one fits all the requirements. To make it a little more daytime/work friendly, I threw on my go-to denim jacket. It would also work great with a chambray tied around the waist, or even layered under a chunky sweater and boots with some knee high socks. I’m seriously considering emailing the brand, because I’m dying for this dress to come out in more colors!
