Happy Friday y’all!

Mother Nature is tricky during the fall. One minute you need a hat, SPF 50 and you’re ripping off your blanket scarf and then the next thing you know it’s suddenly become windy, looks like you’re  on the set of Sleepy Hollow and you need a scarf and Johnny Depp [ if you’ve seen the movie you catch my vibe and poor joke, haha]. That’s basically how it’s been this week on the East Coast. Pretty much everyday this week I’ve either been on my way to a meeting or event and all of a sudden from a gorgeous fall day it just turns weird. Picking out what to wear in the morning [or the night before if you’re prepared like that] becomes 10x harder!

When I’m stuck in a clothing rut in the am, I always love to choose a cardigan! I mean, I’m not sure I’ve ever said no to a cardigan, but that’s beside the point… Most of the times I steer clear of duster cardigans since I’m lanky and tall, so they usually just end up sitting on me awkwardly or hitting me not so cutely mid-thigh. Earlier this week I wanted to add a little color to my monochrome look and went straight for this cozy, cheerful Chicwish cardigan! It’s long enough to be considered a duster, but not long enough that you feel eaten by it! I added my favorite ankle booties that I picked up last year at Loft [so sad they didn’t come back this year!] and a pair of chunky wool socks to break up the black on black! If you haven’t pick up a pair of black booties yet, do it! I’m sharing some of my favorite picks below.

Thanks so much for reading! Enjoy the weekend! XO!

Thank you Hailey! You definitely do! It was kind of a necessity for this look since I’m wearing ankle jeans, haha!

Thank you so much! It’s pretty heavy! It definitely kept me warm, and is perfect for piling over layers. Yes! Especially during the holidays! Longer down/heavy coat are my go-tos for the winter since they cover duster/long cardigans! 🙂
