Happy first week of November!
I’m in denial. Denial at the fact that a) it’s already NOVEMBER and b) it won’t be this cute outside for long. East Coast winters don’t mess around. Soon all the pretty fall foliage will be gone and it’ll look like an arctic tundra, and worse – it’ll feel like one.
I’ve officially jumped on the cape train and I don’t think I’ll be jumping off anytime soon. At first I was a little hesitant since I was always under the impression I’d look like I should be on the campus of Hogwarts [which I could be cool with. Ron and I would get along I think, haha!]. I finally tried one on a few weeks ago and fell in love! I love the idea of being bundled up, but hate bulky coats and the cape is the perfect alternative this season. I wore this look this past weekend for Sunday brunch! Since this cape has pretty bold hues, I decided to add lighter denim, a sassy clutch and some plum wedges. I always knew that Aerosoles made super comfortably footwear, but I had no idea how great they felt to walk in until I received these! The deep plum color is perfect for fall, but transitions seamlessly into the holiday season. And no need to kill your feet at holiday parties! Which happens to me every.single.year.
Also, I’m competing in a fun little blogger Style Off with Aerosoles that will go live in a few weeks! I’ll keep y’all posted, but you can vote for your favorite look over on Aerosoles Facebook page starting on November 16th!
