I’ve mentioned this before, but I fully believe that neutrals can change depending on the season. I mean you’ll always have your true neutrals – black, taupe, tan, etc. But now in the fashion world the ‘laws‘ of what to wear, neutrals aren’t so strict or straightforward. Fall for example. Just about everything is plaid, and for some reason – it just works. Flash forward to Winter and anything green or red hued is your go-to. For Spring it’s all about pastels. Baby blue, blush and every other shade that you can add a ‘baby’ in front is also a sure bet.
Trench coats are one those sneaky wardrobe essentials that you actually get a ton of mileage out of. Whether it be draped over your shoulders, worn over your everyday outfit, worn by itself or worn over another jacket it’s one of those unexpected pieces that you’ll be reaching for all spring long. This ChicWish one is a great option, not only because it’s price friendly [under $70!], but it’s also happens to be Pantone’s shade of the season – serenity. [side note: on the ChicWish site it claims it’s ‘gray’ but y’all, it’s dusty blue]. I threw mine over a simple, light look and kept the dark tones to my accessories! This Henri Bendel satchel is speaking my love language y’all! It’s the perfect size to fit your essentials in [think: water, protein bar, wallet and small so cosmetic pouch] without dragging you down by being 112 lbs. Plus, I love that it can be used as a crossbody! I’m all about having my hands free for snacks. #priorities
