Transitional Spring Wear

New York and Company Outfit

I’m a casual wear girl at heart. I feel most comfortable in denim and a tee, but I love when basics are taken to the next level, and that’s exactly what the NY and Company Soho Collection is all about! I have about a million and one basic white tanks that I wear far too often. That’s why when I saw this chambray cami, it would be a perfect solution to switch things up! Wear it by itself, with a jacket over it, tucked into a skirt or for a double denim look – it’s an easy addition to your wardrobe that you never knew you needed!

Also, I have to give a shout out to this amazing suede moto jacket. With spring just about in full force, but cooler temps still hanging around, I’ve been grabbing my denim jacket like it’s my job. The time between seasons is hard, especially when your heart is set on bathing suits and flip flops. It’s even more of a buzzkill when the temperature reads 52 degrees. I’ve been trying to find some inexpensive transitional pieces to get me through till summer, but that I’ll still be able to throw on if I’m cold [which I always am, haha!]. I’m finally able to give my stand by denim jacket a break thanks to this moto piece. It’s warm without being suffocating, the perfect neutral to go with any look and works just like a denim jacket!

Another one of my favorites from the Soho Collection is this adorable bell sleeved off-the-shoulder top [pictured in my second look below]! With all the Coachella and festival inspired looks flooding Instagram, I have to say I’ve been having some serious FOMO this year. This OTS number is keeping my Coachella cravings at bay, and adds the perfect touch of bohemian to your look without being overwhelming! It’s also great if you’re not quite at the shorts and tank weather, but still want to bust out some summer pieces!

Obsessed with both of these looks! I have never seen a chambray cami before, and those block lace up heels are amazing. You wear off the shoulder so well. Hope you’re having a great weekend!

I agree with the comment above – I love your NY&CO posts! I’m so used to seeing the same big brands, and it’s great to see NY&CO since I have it in my nearest mall AND its affordable.
