Sanctuary Orange Dress

Back in business with a working laptop! After the past two weeks of my laptop saga, and a few trips to the dreaded Genius Bar (is it just me, or do the guys working there make you feel like you have NO idea how to work a laptop!?) I can finally start getting up some outfits from the past few weeks.

This little Sanctuary slip is perfect for long and hot summer days, where you still want to look put together, but you can’t fathom putting more energy into an outfit than throwing on a dress! When I first saw the color I was a bit hesitant because it’s out of my comfort zone, but it turns out that I’ve been grabbing it constantly! Perfect timing with the temperatures rising into the upper 80’s this past week.

Plus, this is one piece I would definitely be throwing in my suitcase for vacations in the coming months! It’s the easiest sundress for a day of sightseeing with some flat sandals or even a great option to dress up with some wedges and delicate gold jewels for a beach wedding or night out! It comes in a few different colors and prints, but I have my eye on this chambray number for some summer events and 4th of July weekend!

— Wedding Update —

In wedding planning news, we finally decided on a date, destination AND hotel! Eeeeek! We came to the conclusion (…pretty quickly haha) that one wedding with half of the guests coming from across the world is crazy enough, so we nixed the idea of having two at opposite ends of the globe. We are now just planning one destination wedding! I’m so excited to share with y’all where we are planning on going along with more details soon. I’ll also be starting a Wedding Series in the coming weeks that I can’t wait for! Stay tuned.. 🙂
