Happy Fourth of July!

SO… I got a haircut. Unintentionally. Since a disastrous highlight job in the winter, I’ve been back and forth with hairdressers and trusting Yelp reviews like that are my best friends. This time I went in for a few balayage highlights, a trim and blow out. Simple. To the point. Well, apparently things escalated and before I knew it I was walking out of the salon with 3+ inches less of hair. Haha! I mean, I don’t hate it so much since I’ve been dying to try the whole ‘long bob’ look, but just didn’t mentally prepare myself for it. But, I’m looking on the bright side — it’s summer and it’ll grow back! Thank you so much for the sweet words on this  Instagram photo. Y’all made me feel so much better!

This little bow off the shoulder top from Chicwish is combining all the things I could ask for in a fun summer top! Seersucker, off-the-shoulder and a bow back? Yes, please. You can wear it with the bow in the front, or in the back depending on how you feel, and you can also tuck the bottom flared part of the sleeves into the upper part for a different 3/4 length sleeve look! I’ve been grabbing for these easy Kendra Scott jewels lately when putting together outfits. I love mixing metals and this necklace and white cuff have been staples in my summer wardrobe, adding just a touch of sparkle! Also, I feel like I just have to give a moment to this Gigi New York clutch that is quickly becoming a holy grail item.  The quality is amazing, it fits everything you need (I’m carrying a water bottle in it here!) and it’s the perfect color to go with any outfit in your closet.
