Happy Friday dolls!

This week has been a crazy one even though it was short, and I’m not one bit sad to see it go! We’ve had heat advisories all week long so the easier the outfit the better. I’ve been living in white sundresses this season, and this Free People one checks off all the boxes. Best part? It comes with a slip underneath it so it’s not sheer! Throw it on with a denim jacket, or even over jeans for a tunic-y look. I added some easy gold and cognac details for a late summer dinner al fresco at our favorite Greek restaurant!

Story time! I have to admit…I’ve been hesitant to purchase any luxury brands online after a fiasco late last year. Last fall I decided I was going to one of my favorite retailers to splurge on a Chloe just in time for fashion week! I went to my local store to try and find it, but the particular bag that wanted looked like it had seen better days, so instead of taking it I decided to order it through the store and have it sent to my house. A few days later when that little expensive baby arrived, I opened it and found it was in WORSE condition than the one I saw in the store! The hardware on the bag was chipped and the leather looked worn and gross. I immediately called the retailer to tell them and to ask if I could return it to the store…but due to the condition it was in it had to be sent back to the headquarters. Since I was in a time crunch I asked if I could have another sent to me with expedited mail, knowing that I would send the damaged one out later that day. They were great about it and sent one out that day with tracking! Long story short — I never received the bag that was sent to me (even though tracking said it had been delivered) and the bag I sent back was never received by them. Enter panic mode. Thankfully I was able to sort everything out with the retailer, open up a complaint with the shipping company AND get my money back…eventually. Since then I’ve steered clear of expensive online shopping and just thought I wasn’t meant to have nice things – haha!

I decided to give it another try and ordered this bag from Luisaviaroma, and it has completely changed the way I shop online for designer goods! The purse came in 3 days (from Europe!) beautifully packaged and in pristine condition. It features a huge variety of designer shoes, handbags, clothes and accessories all with great inventory.
