Staple Black Flats

Leopard Print Scarf

There’s one pair of shoes I believe you can never have enough of, and those are flats. From casual, to dressy, to running around or dancing the night away – they are one type of shoes that can do it all. With the holidays right around the corner and tons of brights being added to our wardrobes, sticking to a neutral black pair will get you through any occasion. With all of the cute new holiday arrivals hitting Nordstrom, you don’t definitely have to sacrifice style this season!

This Valentino pair was a “treat yo’ self” moment for me a few weeks ago. They take a bit of wearing in (wearing them with pjs walking around the house #classic), but after that they are good to go! I love the darker hardware (as opposed to the bright gold hardware on these), along with the chic matte effect. I packed these for our trip to Washington D.C, a few weeks ago and they were great for days out! I mean if I can walk from our hotel to Georgetown in them, you know they are good stuff. I paired them with a some faux leather leggings, an oversized turtleneck sweater and a fun red cross body! Georgetown was already completely decorated for the holidays so I defintely felt festive enough – but still comfortable!

If you’re looking to add some staple black flats to your wardrobe, Nordstrom carries a ton of fabulous options at all price points. These lace up ones were are in my cart for my trip to India in January (more on that soon!!).
