His and Her Spring Outfits

Mens Spring Outfit

Happy May! I can’t believe the wedding month has arrived! And what better way than to kick it off with a rare appearance from Armaan!? While he’s no stranger to the blog, 99 percent of the time he’s the one taking the photos, so I was excited at the chance for him to jump in on a shoot with me!

This month is gearing up to be the busiest of the year so far; therefore, we are enjoying all the time we can before the craziness starts! Having a destination wedding across the country with family flying in from across the world takes a lot a luck, coordination, prayer (and maybe a little wine), but we’re powering through it and so excited to be with all our loved ones in Napa.

However, I realized I’ve not really shared a ton with y’all about Armaan! If you’ve followed along from the beginning you know that he’s actually from Mumbai, India. I’m talking his first time (second, if you count when he was a baby) in America was when he stepped off the plane to attend college! Which is actually where we met, on our very first day during freshman orientation. I was early for the first time in my life, and he just happened to sit next to me! We became friends quickly after that, and then in sophomore year his fraternity was having a party, and my best friend forced me to go. We started talking again, and shortly after that we started dating! Since he was still living in Mumbai during college, we would go back and forth during breaks, so I could visit and meet his family! We would travel back and forth from the states to Mumbai every 6 months or so up until last August, and we (and our pups!) are a lot happier now that we’re able to settle down and put down roots. Even though we loved traveling back and forth (I actually started the blog while I was in India right after graduation!), it’s a lot easier on both of us without the constant travel.

Now on to our his and her spring outfits! It’s no secret that Nordstrom is my go-to for my wardrobe, but Armaan loves it too! The men’s selection is actually great, and there are a ton of affordable, casual pieces that would be perfect for even the pickiest guy. Another plus? Nordstrom’s cafe and restaurant are always a good bribe to take your man shopping. From shoes, to active wear, accessories and suits – it’s seriously a one stop shop where you can get everything. Which, if your guy has a limited time from when shopping starts to him getting grumpy, is key!
