With Mother’s Day being a few days away, I always reflect on how much I truly appreciate my mom and all that she does for me (and our family!). I’m not sure if I shared this before, but I’m actually an only child! So growing up, I was always very close to both my mom and my grandmother. They have easily been the biggest influences on my life and have molded me into the person that I am today! From taking care of me while working a full time job everyday, I’ve learned so much from the example that she set for me and am so grateful for all the priceless lessons she’s instilled in me – I’m also convinced that she’s super woman managing to do it all!

One thing my mom and I both share is our love for accessories! My mom told me about Sole Society a few years ago when she picked up the cutest pair of tassel sandals. Me, being blessed with a similar shoe size as her, would ‘borrow’ them almost every weekend, until she finally decided to pick me up a pair of my own. Since then, both my mom and I have been hooked! So with Mother’s Day right around the corner, I was so excited to have the opportunity to partner with Sole Society and share some fun looks with my momma for Mother’s Day!

While my mom isn’t really the ‘heels’ type of gal, she loves Sole Society’s chunky block and lower heels. Comfortable, neutral and easy to walk in are all on her list of requirements for shoes and these Hayden heels ticked them all off! They were perfect for walking around downtown Naples for brunch at Jane’s on Third (amazing organic cafe with a European vibe – we loved the outdoor seating) and shopping! If you’re ever in Naples, definitely check out Third Street and Fifth Avenue. Amazing restaurants, adorable shops and galleries are in abundance and every corner is prettier than the last. While our shopping wasn’t successful, we did manage to pick up gourmet dog treats, which our pups were thrilled about, ha!

Another trait I picked up from my mom is the ‘Mary Poppins’ bag. We both carry mini pharmacies, snacks and just about everything else you could think of in them! Sole Society has you covered in all of the handbag and accessories department also. From shoes, totes, to cross bodys to clutches, you are bound to find the perfect gift for the mama in your life!
