Hope everyone’s having a fabulous week! We’ve almost made it to the weekend, and I couldn’t be happier. We’ve been having some pretty rainy weather over here in Southwest Florida the last couple of days, so it’s fingers crossed we see some sunshine soon! In other news, we’re headed back to New Jersey for some super fun things in the next couple of weeks, and I’m so excited to get a taste of fall for a little bit. I mean, is it too early to start talking about pumpkin baked goods? (Never, the answer is never.) Now let’s talk about this transition friendly look with this crop utility jacket & bow flats!
With the weather slowly changing, I’ve been incorporating some more fall shades into my looks, and one of my favorite ways of doing that is adding a utility jacket. Earlier last week, I shared my favorite ‘do it all’ kind of utility jacket, that’s a little bit heavier and longer, but today I’m sharing this light fun cropped number that’s a great piece to get you through the next few weeks, or until cooler temps roll around. With the season change being right around the corner, I’ve been hitting up the Nordstrom site daily to grab some fall essentials. This stripe tee is one of them, and it is probably the best layering piece that I’ve ever picked up! Wear it by itself, under a jacket, under a plaid, with shorts – it can do it all. If you’re a basic tee hoarder like myself, definitely check out Nordstrom to find some amazing closet staples at all price points.
And I can not forget about these bow flats! I’ve been wearing them nonstop since I picked them up, and I just ordered them in another color. They run true to size and have little to no break in period! I’ll be bringing these babies along to Fashion Week next month since they are light enough to fit in a purse and are neutral enough to go with any outfit!
