Happy Monday! Hope everyone’s weekend was relaxing and didn’t fly by too quickly. We had a rare few days without our usual Florida afternoon thunderstorms, so we took complete advantage and spent some time outdoors! Granted, it was in small intervals (that heat index of 102 definitely will get to ya!), but no complaints here. We also tried our hand at frozen rose; we have to do some tweaking to the recipe, but it was SO good.
Now let’s talk about this look! I love both this utility jacket & thermal tee so much that I couldn’t help but throw them together for a look. Nordstrom is one of my go-to places to pick up staple pieces that I know will get me through every season. From jackets, to booties, to timeless accessories – Nordstrom has you covered with pieces for every budget. If you’ve followed along for a while, you already know – this jacket is my forever go-to. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but if you’re looking for a utility jacket to get your through every season, it is worth the investment. Paired with my favorite buttery soft thermal, some comfy (not to mention SUPER cute) flats and my favorite structured tote, it was perfect for a cooler afternoon at our favorite farmer’s market in New Jersey. I have to admit, as much as I love being in Florida, something about fall in the Northeast with the perfect temperature and changing leaves gives me all the heart eyes.
We’re here in Florida for a few more weeks before heading back to New Jersey for some super fun things! New York Fashion Week, our best friends’ wedding, our mini honeymoon (heart eyes galore), some exciting projects for the blog (SO pumped!) – just to name a few. But first we’re headed to Palm Beach later this week – if you have any recommendations send them this girl’s way! It’ll be my first time!
