Bell Sleeve Sweater

Sanctuary Sweater

We’ve made it to the halfway point in the week! It’s been a busy one over here with adjusting from our jet lag and finalizing some fun things for the holidays. I saw a post yesterday that we have under ten weeks until Christmas! I can’t believe how fast the past two months have flown, but I would be kidding myself if I said that I wasn’t excited for the holidays and putting up my tree. I mean, when the Hallmark channel starts playing their holiday movies – it’s basically acceptable to start getting festive, right? Even though I’m still holding on to the little bit of Halloween spirit I’m feeling this week! Speaking of Halloween, this olive green bell sleeve sweater was perfect for an evening walking around and checking out all the outside decorations in our town.

Every fall my love for autumnal hues comes back stronger than ever. Olive has been a longtime favorite shade of mine, so when I saw this bell sleeve sweater, I knew it had a place in my closet. I love the little bit of flare on sleeves this time of year – it gives a cute twist to your usual sweater look, and it dresses things up just a bit. This one from Nordstrom is super cozy without being heavy and could be worn with flats and trousers for work, or black denim and some Burgundy festive heels for the holidays coming up. I always check out Nordstrom when I’m on the hunt for sweaters, and their bell sleeve sweaters this season do not disappoint!

I kept things casual for the rest of the look with one of my favorite everyday totes and comfortable booties. I can’t rave enough about this Madewell tote. It’s well made, roomy and a great option for traveling since it goes with anything! It’s also affordable, and you don’t have to baby the leather since it looks even better with age. It’s my go-to weekly bag when I’m just running around!
