Happy Monday! Can you believe it’s almost Halloween? I’m so excited – Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays, even though we never do much. Give me some scary movies, candy and costumes on my dogs and I’m happy. We got back from Maui this weekend to the perfect fall weather, even though Armaan and I have been experiencing some serious jet lag from our honeymoon! That gave us the great excuse to catch up on sleep and order take out. We did manage to head to a local farmer’s market to grab some groceries, and I decided it was the perfect time to take out my favorite over the knee boots for the season!
A good pair of over the knee boots is a closet essential for fall and winter! From making you look taller, to dressing up an otherwise casual outfit, they add a great touch of chic. I picked up this pair by Stuart Weitzman from Nordstrom a while ago, and while they are a bit of a splurge, they are worth every penny. Not only are they super comfortable – they really stay in one spot, which I found out while running to catch a train in the city! If you’re looking for some other over the knee options, Nordstrom has an amazing selection with a variety of price points. I just ordered a heeled pair to wear for some holiday photos coming up!
Speaking of closet essentials, another piece to have is a basic neutral turtleneck. I ran into Nordstrom earlier this week, and just happened to try this Topshop one on and fell in love. This one is super soft and runs on the longer side so you can throw it over leggings. I’m planning on wearing it with some booties and a vest for pumpkin picking next weekend! Speaking of pumpkins – anyone else feel like pumpkins aren’t everywhere this year like they usually are at least in my neighborhood (maybe, it has something to do with the fact that squirrels seem to love them)?!

A big thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post! All opinions are my own.
