Transitional Stripe Sweater

Fall Striped Sweater

Hope everyone is having a great week! It’s been a little quiet over here after a rough last month, but things are starting to settle down, and I’m so glad to begin getting back on track. The weather is finally cooling down! We have family coming in next month, and I am excited for their visit! Also, we’re headed on a little weekend getaway this week, so things are definitely looking up. With the weather cooling down, I’ve started to not so patiently prepare for fall. From hot days to cool nights, I’ve started making sure my outfits work for both seasons, and that’s why I’m so excited to share this adorable transitional stripe sweater for today!

For this in between summer and fall season, even if it’s still feeling like summer, I like to start incorporating more muted hues. When I saw the colors in this pocket sweater, it immediately screamed fall to me! Wear it now with some shorts and sneakers, or if you have some cooler weather now, pair it with jeans and fun booties! Speaking of booties, these metallic taupe colored ones have been my absolute favorite. I picked them up from Nordstrom a few weeks ago and wore them right out of the box with some shorts and a tee and it was like I’ve worn them forever!

With the cooler weather this weekend, we managed to grab these shots before heading out to dinner with some friends! We had a busy day of errands and catching up on shopping after a crazy few weeks; I dragged Armaan to Nordstrom with me to stock up on some fall pieces for both of us. I actually spotted both this sweater and these booties in different colors and styles and will most definitely be picking up some to throw into my fall rotation!
